ABOUT CPH OPEN

Since its inception in 2007, CPH OPEN has grown to be the can’t-miss yearly event for the international professional skateboarding elite and for crowds from all over the globe.

CPH OPEN moves around to multiple locations each day throughout multiple days in multiple cities, hitting up spots as diverse as Copenhagen City Hall, Tivoli Gardens, historic Berlin bridges, abandoned supermarkets as well as taking over entire city blocks. The event attracts crowds in the thousands at each stop and people travel from all over the world to attend.

In 2018 we brought the CPH OPEN flavour across the borders for 10 days and created happenings and events starting in Copenhagen, moving on to Amsterdam and ending up in Berlin.

The essence of CPH OPEN revolves around the city and the local culture. It is a 100% independent skateboard event unlike anything else – it is whatever the riders and audience make it.

CPH OPEN is created by a diverse crew of people with backgrounds in film, photography, design, skatepark building and politics.

Collaborate with us on a project in your city or as a sponsorship partner.

“Copenhagen has an ambition to be the leading capital in Europe when it comes to city culture. CPH OPEN is a good example on how to incorporate and expand the city space in order to create a unique experience that utilises Copenhagen in new ways.”

Frank Jensen, Mayor of Copenhagen
