ABOUT CPH OPEN

Since its inception in 2007, CPH OPEN has grown to be the can’t-miss yearly event for the international professional skateboarding elite and for crowds from all over the globe.

Whereas most skateboarding events and contests focus on one single location, CPH OPEN has moved around to multiple locations each day during 5 days, hitting up spots as diverse as Copenhagen City Hall, Tivoli Gardens as well as taking over entire city blocks. The event has attracted crowds in the thousands at each stop throughout the city of Copenhagen and people have travelled from all over the world to attend.

For 2018 we are taking the event to Berlin, bringing the CPH OPEN flavour across the border. Check the program for updates.

CPH OPEN is created by a diverse crew of people with backgrounds in film, photo, design, skatepark building and politics.

Get in touch if you would like to collaborate with CPH OPEN as a sponsor or if you want to collaborate with us on a project in your city.

“Copenhagen has an ambition to be the leading capital in Europe when it comes to city culture. CPH OPEN is a good example on how to incorporate and expand the city space in order to create a unique experience that utilises Copenhagen in new ways.”

Frank Jensen, Mayor of Copenhagen
